Overview

A Laravel 12 RESTful API with Sanctum-based role access control and Excel report export, paired with an integrated Kotlin Android app.

Background

Built for a small rental and laundry business needing a proper system to track orders, staff roles, and generate reports for owners.

Problem Statement

The business had no unified system to manage rental/laundry orders, restrict what staff could access based on their role, or produce transaction reports for the owner — everything was handled manually.

Objectives

  • Build a Laravel 12 REST API with Sanctum-based authentication and role access control.
  • Support Excel export of transaction reports.
  • Provide a Kotlin Android app for staff to handle day-to-day orders.
