Overview

A REST API and Android app for managing suppliers, products, and transactions with online/offline sync (MVVM, Room, Retrofit).

Background

Designed for a warehouse operation that needed reliable data entry even with unstable internet access.

Problem Statement

Warehouse staff frequently work in areas with unstable connectivity, so an online-only system risked losing data entered during outages.

Objectives

  • Build a Laravel 11 REST API to manage suppliers, products, and transactions.
  • Store data locally on Android with Room Database when offline.
  • Sync local data to the backend via Retrofit once connectivity returns.
